Is it ever okay to lie?

Telling the truth can be difficult when we know it might hurt someone's felling. Sometimes telling a small lie might seem like the easiest thing to do. A lie is a common thing that people usually say without awareness. At that time, lying is not good, sometimes bad. For an example, when your mother ask you whether you go to school or not? You nearly immediately answer that you have just returned home from school although the fact is that you have been absent from class. That are bad words because you just want to protect yourself. Besides, in some circumstances, people had better hide the truth. Sometimes, the truth is not needed to say or not to be allowed to show. The reasons are that you want to make someone happy or just a kidding in a talk. The most important thing is that you must be aware what you say, that might hurt someone's felling or not. Anyway, in my opinion, it is ever okay to lie that is still lie and can damage a trusting relationship.

A Suburban Hospital

It was a rainy and windy night in a suburban hospital. A doctor was tired from being on duty all day long. He walked slowly into a dark obsolete elevator. In that elevator there was an old woman with white hair and shriveled face. He asked her about her heath, and how long she had been there. The old woman said it was too long to remember how many years she had been there. The elevator slowly went down and opened when it stopped at the fifth floor. The fifth floor was the place where the dead are stored. Surprisingly, there was a little girl who wanted to get inside. He was shocked and chilled to the bone to see her. So he pushed the close button quickly to prevent the little girl from getting in side. After that, the elevator kept going. The old lady asked why he prevented the little girl form getting inside. The doctor replied the little girl had a number on her neck that the doctors always print on the dead. She nodded and took off her jacket slowly... She had another number on her neck.

Las Vegas

Las Vegas is the largest U.S. city in the state of Nevada, United States, and to be internationally known beautiful landmarks, especially gambling destination. If you are going to Las Vegas, you should take a Grand Canyon Air tour to see the most famous landmarks in the West like the Grand Canyon - Home of the Hualapai Indians, Lake Mead - the largest man-made lake in the United States, the Colorado River - the primary river of the southwest and the Hoover Dam - which stands 725 feet above the Colorado River. You can be guided by Hualapai Indian guides and enjoyed the great scenic view of the various types of wild life. Moreover, the major attractions in Las Vegas are the casinos. There are many casinos in the city's downtown area which was the original focal point of the city's gaming industry. The most famous casinos is located in Las Vegas Boulevard South as well as several large casinos are also located in the county around the city. I have some suggestions on how you can win a lot of money. First, start to play game, you should check out for free lessons at your casino. Most casinos offer free lessons on a variety of games -- craps, pokers, roulette and more. Second, watch the game to be playing for helping you have important insights such as where and when to place bets and which hand to use when picking up your cards. For example, in Craps game, you can not use your hand, but in Caribbean Stud Poker, you can use your hand when picking up your cards. Finally, ask the dealers questions. You have rules that you must abide and they're not playing with their own money, so they have nothing to hide. Las Vegas is the exciting city where any tourist wants to be gone once time at least.

My Most Embarrassing Moment

One day when I looked at the photographs taken during my childhood days, most embarrassing moment about many memories of my childhood came to me. It is said that, childhood is the most beautiful period of a man’s life. However, this is not true to all people. It must be lucky for those who live in happy families because they have no worries and do not work very hard, except for their study. They are looked after and loved by their good parents. Their childhood is full of pleasant memories. On the contrary, it is unfortunate for a person who has to go to work too early. His childhood is full of worries, and his memories are the days of earning money or bad experiences. My childhood was very happy. Since I was born my mother has always taken a good care of me in everything. My father usually appears at any important events in my life such as the first day I went to school; the day I took my high school-extrance exam, or when I sat in the college-entrance examination... As you know, being loved by my grandparents I was a rather naughty child. I like chocolates, ice-cream but I hates meals. I can recall how my grandmother had to run after me whenever she wanted me to have lunch or dinner. I could run faster than her, shouting noisily. But sometimes, she told me fairy tales. My favorite story was “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. Anyway, the happy or miserable childhood can’t be forgotten. Those memories have been lasting during one’s life.

An Unforgettable Experience

I joined the volunteer students to celebrate the Vietnamese Women’s Day that is an unforgettable experience in my student life. The Vietnamese Women’s Day is a Vietnamese holiday to celebrate the brilliant exploits of Vietnamese women during the wars and that is the first time I joined a volunteer activity. Through this activity, I learnt many things about the works to hold a ceremony as well as about life and brilliant exploits of Vietnamese women during the wars. Preparations begin a month before this day. First, the government appeals to volunteer, especially students from the colleges and universities to help prepare parts of the day like the posters, the plays, the songs, the gifts, etc. Next the volunteers are divided into many groups with specific tasks. I was divided into the group to be responsible about the posters that show the brief life story of these women and the information about the ceremony. Soon, they start work. Two days before the Vietnamese Women’s Day, these posters are hung up on the trees in the city. On this day, the ceremony is held in the center park and includes many activities. First, a play celebrates the brief life story of one of these women. Then songs about their lives will be sung by the volunteer students and many famous singers. Finally, the government will give to the women who are still alive. Later the ceremony ends, everybody can look at the posters and pictures about their life stories and brilliant exploits of Vietnamese women.

My Favorite Season

The season I like most likely is winter. There are two main reasons. Firstly, in my country, the weather seems hot around the whole year. In winter, the weather becomes colder, not great sunny and has occasional tiny rain. It's not west or humid, but It has some of cold wind. The weather makes person feel more comfortable. And another may be I am an Christian. I love Christmas Eve. That whole month, my family prepares to decorate my house to celebrate these days. We have lots of time together, have much funny, go to church and spray. I have a lot of comfortable feelings in winter.

An imaginary letter to the dean to persuade him to change the class schedules

We have a little difficulty of schedule in Tuesday and Thursday. We have break time form 9:45 am to 11:30 am, have long time to study in afternoon. At this break time, most of us don't feel hungry to have luch. If We have lunch at this time, most of us feel hungry and tired in the final class in evenning. That's our trouble. If our dean can help us, could we have 2 classes in morning and 2 classes in the afternoon?

A Person Who Has Made a Difference

A person who has made a difference is one of my friends. He is a real man, very kind person, and loves his family so much. In addition, he is very selfless. He is 28 years old but has not had any lover up to now and it seems like he is his mother’s property. He loves and respects his mom a lot. Everything he has done is for his family, not for him. For example, he always gives his mother all his wages. I think he lives for others and forgets about himself. He works so hard and does everything his mom wants him to do. I think that his mom loves him so much that she always controls him, and does not want him to do anything that anybody wants. Sometimes, he is really sad and wants to have a private life, but he doesn’t because he wants to help others. In conclusion, he is always willing to do things for others more than for himself.

Write about your favorite sport. Why do you like it?

My favorite sport is jogging. It is the activity of running slowly and steadily as a way of exercising. I like jogging because it is the simple and inexpensive sport. You need a jogging suit and walking shoes for playing this sport. Jogging is not only the simple and inexpensive sport but also brings many benefits. It helps to keep your weight, strengthen your health, especially, to be good for people who have been under a lot of stress in their life. It says that jogging is a good sport for your free time.
